Writer’s Block Motivation.

Questions I found. I’m going to start writing on these if I have nothing else to write about for the day, and start crossing them out one at a time. Brace yourself.

Oh God!

Oh God!

How are you a better person today than you were ten years ago? Do you behave differently online than you do in real life? What was your favorite movie when you were a kid? Is it still your favorite now that you’re older? What habit of your own annoys other people? Have you ever tried to change it? Do you believe in true love? What about love at first sight? What’s a little thing you do every day that brightens the lives of those around you? If you could jump in a time machine and travel back to any point in history, where would you go? What story of personal greatness, achievement or success would your co-workers or friends be surprised to learn about you? What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? Have you ever met a celebrity in real life? Who was it and how did your paths cross? What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? What’s on your list of dealbreakers when it comes to romantic relationships? What recently developed technology—cell phones, wi-fi, laptops, handheld gaming devices, etc.—do you think has had the worst influence on how people behave in public? You’re packing your bag for that other desert island—the one with no electricity—what 5 books do you take with you? You’re packing your bag for that magical desert island that happens to have electricity, a TV, and a DVD player—what five DVDs do you take with you? If you could ask your pet any question (and they could answer you), what would it be? If you had to give up one indulgence for 40 days, what would it be? Describe your morning routine. What is your personal motto or favorite quotation? Putting legal definitions aside, at what age do you think someone can really be considered an adult? If you won the lottery, what would you do with your newfound riches? What creature would you choose as your spirit animal? If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Ever seen the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42? Which day of the week do you least look forward to? And which one do you most anticipate? If you were in trouble or ran afoul of the law, which fictional detective or investigator—from tv, movies, or books—would you want to help you? As the old saying goes, March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Weather aside, how did March come and go in your life this year? What scientific or medical breakthrough do you most want to happen in your lifetime? Where do you find your personal strength? What would your best friend say makes you great? What about your parents or siblings? Who (or what) do you consider to be your first love? Do you think people deserve second chances? When was the last time you threw caution to the winds? And what were the consequences? It’s the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. What season do you want it to be where you live? How are you a better person today than you were ten years ago? How do you define greatness? What do you think happens when we die? Have you ever met or known someone who has the same name as you (first and last) but is not a relative? Do you seek attention or hide from it? What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? Would you eat it again? How many (if any) songs do you know by heart? What are they? Do you ever have recurring dreams? If so, are they good dreams or nightmares? Do you ever do anything now that you swore you would never do when you were younger? What is it? It’s Limerick Day! Share a favorite or compose your own humorous five-line poem with an AABBA rhyme structure. When was the last time you cooked for yourself? What did you make? What is your favorite urban legend? Have you or anyone you know ever been fooled by one? If you could live in any era of history, which one would you choose? What can the government do to protect America from another financial catastrophe? Do you believe in fate? Why or why not? Our friends don’t always know us as well as they think, particularly when it comes to likes and dislikes. Which popular book, movie, band, food, TV show, etc. would your friends be surprised to hear that you don’t like? Do you like to plan everything out or do you prefer to be spontaneous? Robert Frost speculated about the world ending in fire or in ice. Which do you think is likely to end us all: meteorite, global warming, nuclear weapons, zombies, or the superflu? How long could you survive on your own in the wild? Out of all of your favorite books, pick just one you’d recommend everyone read. As a bonus: why did you pick that one? What is the most beautiful view you’ve ever seen? Have you been there, or do you plan to visit? If you have one, share a picture. What is the most annoying sound in the entire world? People who enter the Witness Protection Program have to change their names. If you were in that situation, which new name would you choose? Would you ever go on a silent retreat? How long do you think you could go without talking?

More to come later.
